This challenge has been inspiring, but it still reminds me of the uphill battle I have in integrating more hand-on science into the elementary classroom. I received lots of positive feedback. I think I need to start surveying teachers on what they look for in hands-on science. I learned that some school districts don't allow any animals in the classroom. For those teachers my fish investigation would not be relevant. Even my kids school does not have safety goggles for students. Through this challenge I hope to continue to connect with teachers and feel inspired to create age appropriate investigations.
Memorable moments in science create memorable and positive experiences in learning.
I now am connected to several pages and blogs that are very helpful.
Swapping products was such a great way to get feedback. I made changes to my investigation and it is better for it.
The 4 teachers that set this up deserve a big round of applause. I am sure this has kept them busy.
Now that I have more connections I am excited to continue to work on my products. I have an exciting year of classes planned. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
